Scott Kalkin has over 25 years of extensive experience in the appellate courts, having handled more than 100 appellate actions. These have included appeals in four of California's six state appellate districts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Unites States Supreme Court.

In his most recent appellate victory, Blankenship v. Liberty Life, Mr. Kalkin successfully protected a verdict in favor of his client which he had initially won at trial in federal court in the Northern District of California.

Mr. Kalkin is a former director and President of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and has also served as a judge pro tem for the San Francisco and San Mateo County Superior Courts since 1990.
